Anne Hathaway has announced her pregnancy via Instagram.
Anne Hathaway announced she was pregnant, one-upped the paparazzi and proved she has a sense of humour – all with the same bikini shot. The Oscar-award winning actress posted a picture of herself on Instagram, happily showing her bump and announcing she is expecting a child with husband Adam Shulman.
However, it was the caption which re-purposed the paparazzi moment that took the prize. “So, posting a bikini pic is a little out of character for me, but just now while I was at the beach I noticed I was being photographed,” Hathaway said on her Instagram account. “I figure if this kind of photo is going to be out in the world it should at least be an image that makes me happy (and be one that was taken with my consent. And with a filter :)”

The picture of Hathaway has racked up more than 270,000 likes and thousands of comments.
There has been a lot of gossip about Anne Hathaway’s pregnancy ever since she made a public appearance in September 2015, showing signs of a baby bump. Her film, The Intern, also released in the same month.
Hathaway has said in the past, “I’ve wanted to be a mom since I was 16. I’m 30 and I want to have a family of a certain size ... I’d like to have as many as I can afford, not just financially but in terms of time, because you want to make sure each one feels special.”
